Making sure that we live a balanced lifestyle goes a long way. However, if you think that you are required to make drastic changes for this new routine, well, let me tell you my friend that there is no need for it at all. In fact, meditation is a form of practice that doesn't require you to sacrifice your time at all. 

I have been practicing meditation for a few years now. In some of my therapeutic art workshops, I often include a short creative visualization before the start of the session. Meditation has helped me stay focus and stay connected with my creative thought process. I do have my bad days. On those days, I try to give myself an off day, stay off social media, detach from my usual routine and allow myself to rest mentally and physically. Creative blockages are completely normal for every artist. Instead of giving in to it, I wanted to introduce a new routine for my body to recognize. Meditation is a great way for you to acquire mental-clarity so that you have a clearer mind of what sort of goals you want to achieve and how to get there. In a simpler term, meditation is a practice for paying attention, which helps you set your intentions, amplifies your performance and being more mindful of your actions.

If you are wondering how you can kickstart this mindful practice, I would personally recommend you to start small and ease into it. Perhaps, start off with once a week, 5 to 10 minutes a day and you can have your pick to meditate in the morning or taking a break in between work to do this.
