On April's first, we co-hosted the Art Journal Malaysia tea party with Amy from
Craftioneries. It was the group's first tea & jam session organized exclusively for
Art Journal Malaysia members, a Facebook community group created specially for art journaling enthusiasts. It wasn't a big party, but it was a cozy weekend for everyone, perfect for journaling together and getting to know each other.
Because it was our first, we didn't quite set on a theme or a specific activity, except a sharing on journaling tips and a gift swap. Here's a quick recap of what we did!

I taught everyone how they can turn any notebooks into an art journal. (Easy, peasy. Just use gesso)
Everyone brought their own materials for sharing, and we played with each other's art supplies!
At the end of the party, we had a quick gift swap session. Aside from the eating, chatting and laughing (like a lot!), it was definitely a good way to be part of a community that supports each other.
Even though art journaling may sound specific, but we welcome anyone who journals in general. You are more than welcome to join us and be part of the community.
