I haven't been writing much on the blog, as I have been busy focusing on building the other areas of my creative business. 5 months ago we relocated to another location, not too far from our previous place where we used to live and where our studio used to be. So, for the past 5 months, I have been working on settling in our house and resetting our lifestyle as well. Things are different here, from urban to suburban, it took some getting used to. Being slightly further away from most things, I had to make sure that I had a balanced lifestyle as an artist and a creative entrepreneur because I work from home most of the time. I switched my lifestyle to going to bed early and waking up at 5.30am (or the latest at 6.30am) and I make sure that I make time for these 4 essentials in my daily routine, which consist of workout, meditation, breakfast and art exercise (draw, paint or craft).

I have been practising meditation for a few years now. If you attend my Intuitive Art Jam sessions, you will be able to experience my guided meditations, where I include a short creative visualization before paintingMeditation has helped me stay focus and stay connected with my creative thought process. I do have my bad days. On those days, I try to give myself an off day, stay off social media, detach from my usual routine and allow myself to rest mentally and physically. Creative blockages are completely normal for every artist. Instead of giving in to it, I wanted to introduce a new routine for my body to recognize. Meditation is a great way for you to acquire mental-clarity so that you have a clearer mind of what sort of goals you want to achieve and how to get there. In a simpler term, meditation is a practice for paying attention, which helps you set your intentions, amplifies your performance and being more mindful of your actions.
